Stowaway is a quarterly not-for-profit travel magazine created and published as a project for the capstone class of the editing minor at Brigham Young University (BYU). All class members contribute to planning, writing, editing, designing, creating web content, and selling ads.
We aim to inspire the imaginations of our readers and encourage them to explore the world and new cultures by creating their own adventures through exciting, safe, and meaningful travel that includes service, education, and leisure.
All current and past issues of Stowaway can be read online at www.stowawaymag-archive.byu.edu. The magazine is available on the website in two formats: an online version and a digital copy of the print version. To see the digital copy, be sure to click on “Current Issue.” Then you can click on the arrows to thumb through every page of the magazine.
The magazine is published by MagCloud, and print and digital versions are available at www.magcloud.com. MagCloud also offers a free iPad app that includes access to current and past issues of Stowaway.
The views expressed in this publication are solely the views of the authors and contributors and do not represent the views or opinions of Brigham Young University.

Linne Marsh / This idea is incredible! I love that it is a magazine with a changing staff. I didn’t think it was possible to raise the bar from Garnish, but it has happened! 😉 I have such fond memories of my capstone class. I hope all you editing minors take advantage of this experience. Professor Gardner has a lot of valuable knowledge to share!
